WHY SUCH A HIGH PRODUCTION MEMBRANE?
While most reverse osmosis systems us a 10 or 12 gallon per day membrane, our PureEarth system uses a 75 or 150 gallon per day membrane.  Why?  While 12 gallons per day SOUNDS like plenty of water, it's the production time you need to consider.  While it takes the 12 GPD membrane over two hours to make one gallon of water, it takes our 75 GPD membrane about 20 minutes and our 150 GPD membrane about 10 minutes to do the same (at 65 psi and 77º F)!  Because most storage tanks only hould about two gallons of liquid, it's easy to run out of water during heavy-use times (i.e. when company comes over) with a slow membrane.

• 75 OR 150 gallon per day GE Osmonics® TFC encapsulated membrane (NSF-58 certified) - for fastest recovery time and high removal rates: 20 minutes for one gallon at 96% for 75 gpd, 10 minutes per gallon at 93% for 150 gpd (at 65 psi and 77° F)
• 1 micron GE Osmonics® sediment pre-filter (NSF listed) - removes sediment, rust, silt.  Most competitors use a 5 micron.

* - Total tank volume, based on industry-standard rating. Actual capacity of any bladder-type storage tank is less than the rated volume. At 60 psi, it is 60% of total; at 50 psi, it is 50% of total; at 40 psi, it is 40% of total.

Reverse osmosis system space requirements: Main unit is 18" tall x 14" wide x 6" deep, storage tank is 9" diameter X 20" tall (a 3' tube connects them - they can be on opposite sides under your cabinet). 5 year warranty on hardware, 2 years prorated on membrane.

All of our under counter water filters are placed out of the way, under the sink, connecting to the cold water line with an "EZ faucet connector" (not a leak-prone saddle valve).  They dispense water through an attractive long reach, LEAD-FREE,* solid brass premium faucet (not a cheap plastic flip-lever). Quick-connect fittings make for fast, easy installation.  A 1/2" hole is all that is needed for the faucet stud (all series), but a cover plate is included to accommodate larger pre-drilled holes (such as a vegetable sprayer hole).

Our under-counter filters now include a PREMIUM SERIES upscale faucet at NO EXTRA CHARGE!  This elegant, lead-free,* solid brass faucet features a smooth quarter-turn handle with a ceramic seat for a lifetime of service - no flimsy plastic flip-handle like most other brands!  There is no spring, so, like a regular faucet, the handle stays in the position you place it.  In addition to the ALL CHROME color scheme (pictured at left), it comes in CHROME WITH BRASS ACCENTS, BRUSHED NICKEL (stainless steel look), WHITE, ALMOND, BISQUE, BLACK, RED and POLISHED BRASS.
