Simple to Use!  A heavy-duty ball, valve-style diverter valve replaces the aerator on your faucet.  In the regular position, water exits straight through its own aerator.  When filtered water is desired, one only turns on the cold water and rotates the valve knob.  Water then runs through the filter and out its own swivel spout!

Spout, diverter valve, and connectors are lead-free chromed brass - NSF-approved.  It can also always be converted for under-counter use with part number FK (Faucet Kit).

THE PROBLEM WITH FLUORIDE:

The fluoride added to water often contains toxic materials, including lead, mercury, and arsenic. For this reason, hundreds of renowned scientists and researchers around the world publicly condemn water fluoridation. The fluoride water filter is a simple solution to a vexing problem. You may not have any control over what goes into your water, but this simple device can easily take it right back out.

FLUORIDE REMOVAL METHODS:

Activated alumina filter media and reverse osmosis systems are the two EPA-recommended methods of fluoride removal.  While some companies claim that carbon filters can remove 100% of the fluoride from you water, the truth is that they only remove 40 to 60%.  This is why activated alumina filter media are so important.  Activated alumina, or aluminum oxide, shares its chemical makeup with sapphires and rubies but lacks the impurities that give the gems their color.  It is ideal for water filtration because its porous surface provides a significant amount of surface area against which the water interacts.  This results in the removal of an impressive 90% to 98% of fluoride and toxins.

NOTE: Don’t be fooled by companies that sell single multi-media cartridge units containing only a small amount of media; a full cartridge of 100% activated alumina is needed for complete fluoride removal!

REMOVAL OF MORE THAN JUST FLUORIDE:

Our fluoride removal systems use a double cartridge configuration with an activated alumina cartridge in the first position and KDF/GAC in the second. While the activated alumina cartridge has been shown not to leach any aluminum, the KDF/GAC cartridge acts as a precaution and will remove any aluminum that passes through it. KDF/GAC also removes chlorine, heavy metals (including lead), chemicals, VOCs, and more, while leaving in essential, healthful minerals like calcium and magnesium.
