The CRYSTAL QUEST® Luxury Shower Power System works by filtering your shower water through both ERA-6500 and ERA-9500 media, as well as granular activated carbon. It iis the most advanced shower filter on the market, removing chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, THMs, pesticides, sulfur, heavy metals, hydrogen sulfide ("rotten egg" odor), iron oxides (rust water), dirt, sediment and other odors. It is also pH-balanced.

The CRYSTAL QUEST® Luxury Shower Power System contains a reversible filter cartridge which lasts about a year. The Filtration Process: After entering the unit through a center tube, the water passes through both ERA-6500 and ERA-9500 media for de-chlorination and pH balancing. It then travels through the GAC (granular activated carbon) stage to remove contaminants and finally exits through the shower head. The unique drop-down filter design allows for a substantial amount of filtration media, which enables more contact time with the water and thus better filtration. This design also allows for more headroom than do most other shower filters.

Reversible: The periodic reversal of the cartridge not only ensures balanced filtration and eliminates the potential for channeling, but also back-flushes the cartridge as it filters. It is easily changed and operated in either direction.
