Contaminated Drinking Water Supply in California City

(CBS13) AMADOR COUNTY New information is surfacing about a recent water warning in Amador County. It could be several years before the water is safe to drink again.

At least six wells near Mule Creek State Prison are contaminated with dangerous levels of nitrates.

A few things I noticed from this story.  First, You cannot trust anyone but yourself when it comes to purifying your water supply.  The prison says the water is not contaminated, the county says it is.  Don't leave it up to anyone else to clean your water, you MUST do it yourself to be sure that it is of the best quality possible!  We see news reports like this weekly here at AirAndAqua.com and we don't take them lightly!  MANY, MANY places in this country have very poor quality of water for the residents, the multitude of news reports can prove that!
